“Leadership is the investment of emotions in what you do”
This session is designed to provide registrars with the opportunity to reflect on the importance of leadership in every day practice. The day will include a combination of interactive sessions, academic refreshers and talks from NHS colleagues.
Learning outcomes
- To provide an academic refresh on leadership theory
- To gain insight into the different leadership experiences of people working within the health system
- To reflect on personal experience of leadership, specifically relating to values and beliefs about own leadership style
- To explore the challenges and opportunities available to us as public health leaders of tomorrow
