South West Public Health Development School 2018 - one day event - FULL

The Event

The South West Public Health Development School provides a unique opportunity for people working in a variety of fields within public health to expand their public health horizons at this event. Previously a two day school, the Development School will now be a one day event still boasting a vibrant mix of workshops and learning activities. These sessions will provide an excellent opportunity to consider how to maximise public health opportunities and truly make a difference.

Who Should Attend?

The Development School is open to anyone working in a public health related field from across the South West. We welcome professionals from a variety of organisations and settings, from local authorities, CCGs, NHS England, Academia, Public Health England, Health Education England, voluntary and community settings.

There will be a wealth of opportunities for new learning and the discussion of new ideas. As always, the school will help to develop both individual practice and strengthen us as a public health community.

Transport

Located on the beach front, Winter Gardens is a 15-20 minute walk from Weston-Super-Mare train station. 

The venue is easily accessible via the M5 motorway and ample car parking is available at the nearby Sovereign Centre.
