- Gain an overview of the national policy guiding NHS work on reducing health inequalities in Children and Young People particularly focusing on healthcare services.
- Learn about the range of health inequalities children and young people can experience.
- Learn how population data on the Children and Young People can inform where regional work on reducing health inequalities is focussed.
- Understand why a focus on early intervention and “first 1001 days” is crucial to reducing health inequalities across the life course.
- Understand from a local example how integrating services for children and families across statutory and non-statutory agencies aims to reduce health inequalities in a particular locality.
