The Event
The South West Public Health Development School provides a unique opportunity for people working in a variety of fields within public health to expand their public health horizons at this event. Again this year, the Development School will be a one day event boasting a vibrant mix of workshops and learning activities. These sessions will provide an excellent opportunity to consider how to maximise public health opportunities and truly make a difference.
Who Should Attend?
The Development School is open to anyone working in a public health related field from across the South West. We welcome professionals from a variety of organisations and settings, from local authorities, CCGs, NHS England, Academia, Public Health England, Health Education England, voluntary and community settings.
Conference overview
A draft programme for the event will be available prior to registration opening.
There will be a wealth of opportunities for new learning and the discussion of new ideas. As always, the school will help to develop both individual practice and strengthen us as a public health community.
Registration and fees
The event will be free to attend. Registration is not yet open.
Transport
Exeter Racecourse is located just off the A38 (Exeter to Plymouth), five miles from the end of the M5 southbound.
Although clearly signposted from all directions, please note that access is via a sharp turn situated shortly after the brow of Haldon Hill.

There are ample free parking spaces available at the venue.
